I did a post on some great looking wooden toys I found on the internet yesterday but was unable to say where the toys came from. My good friend - Xavier Feng (also co-creator and Creative Director on our animated series Katakune) - gave me the answer today
- you can find them at Take-G Toys. According to the website, Take-G toy’s is a ‘toy’ maker which mostly deals with wooden crafts hand-made by a Japanese craftsman called Takeji (Take-G) Nakagawa. His motto is “to bring wooden beauty and quality into life in my own style”.
I personally think he’s really very talented and gifted - both in character design and in crafting these beautiful wooden toys. I have to admit - I was never a fan of wooden toys until I saw Take-G’s toys!
Enjoy!
