Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight Saga inspired a global fanbase with its vaunted love triangle of a mortal, vampire and a werewolf. Similar to the Harry Potter series, it generated various movies culminating with the most recent theatrical release of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. Now the saga has come to an end after five movies and five years.
Lions Gate Entertainment, the company behind the films, earned $43.6 million in just three days starting last November 23. It remains to be seen what will happen next for Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
