I love pizza. Who doesn’t? Even my Mom used to say a lot, “Pizza is a complete meal—it has everything!” Whether it was due to the fact that a slice of pizza is packed with ample sources of protein, carbohydrate, calcium and fiber or it was just her excuse for being a lazy cook, I never questioned her. Not even once.

That was until two nights ago when she volunteered to order pizza. Just as usual, she claimed “Pizza is a complete meal—it has everything!” and I asked her, “Does it come with bowling tickets?”

Tony’s Pizza, the company that has brought us microwaveable pizzas with the same freshly-baked goodness as pizzas from the city pizza parlor (minus the delivery delay), gives as another reason to love pizza more than ever! Now, especially marked boxes of Tony’s Pizzas include a free bowling coupon, a perfect treat for the whole family right after a nice pizza meal.

But of course, the free bowling coupons are just but the tip of the pizza crust. I haven’t even used my coupons yet (saving them up for the long weekend). The real meat of the pizza here is the actual pizza. Tony’s Pizza come in seven different flavors: Pepperoni, Cheese, Sausage and Pepperoni, Supreme, Hamburger, Four Cheese and Meat Trio—and all of them are worth trying.

The pepperoni pizza may seem a bit greasy after cooking but it’s actually just the juice from the pepperoni. The box can be quite deceiving too ‘cause the family sized pizza box looks a bit small. But well, I probably missed from baking class that dough expands like crazy once cooked. So be sure to invite some friends over if you’re planning to have some pizza movie night as it might be too much for the family.

Anyway, that’s what’s good about Tony’s Pizza since you prepare it at home and you’ll just have to cook as much as you need for now. Better that ordering a big box for the whole family and having stacks of left over later on. At least you won’t have to take dry microwaved overnight pizza in the morning for breakfast. Now, who said frozen pizza can’t be fresh?
