Tim Burton’s animated movie Frankenweenie quietly made its way to theaters a few weeks ago. Although it didn’t make a huge splash in box office receipts, it was positively and critically acclaimed for its vivid visuals and compelling storytelling. Frankenweenie is a dog that has been revived through the same technology that created Frankenstein. It will be coming out on Blu-Ray and the MediaFreaks 3D Animation Studio Blog has its trailer below:
Surprisingly, this is a Tim Burton project without Johnny Depp (since their last project Dark Shadows didn’t hold much of a candle). Frankenweenie is actually a newer version of an earlier Burton film. He remade his own movie with the latest 3D animation technology for a more engaging storytelling experience.
