Nickelodeon to welcome Planet Sheen, T.U.F.F. Puppy and 3 pilots

As per Variety, the hit cartoon animation television network Nickelodeon will be ordering new content to further bolster its award-winning broadcast line-up. Foremost of which is the Jimmy Neutron spin-off entitled Planet Sheen and T.U.F.F. Puppy.The two new series should be expected by late 2009 and early 2010 respectively.

Planet Sheen follows the adventures of the not so bright Sheen who ends up on a planet with low intelligence creatures. Jeff Garcia, Bob Joles and Rob Paulsen form the core of the voice cast while Keith Alcorn, Jim Hope and Steve Oedekerk are the executive producers. Twenty six episoders were ordered for the show.

T.U.F.F. Puppy is another new show which will take us to 13 episodes about a dumb dog forced into a life of crime-fighting. The creator of The Fairly Oddparents Butch Hartman will be the executive producer while Eric Bauza, Grey DeLisle and Jeff Bennett highlight the voicing case.

As for the pilots, Nick has ROBOT AND MONSTER: BEST FRIENDS FOREVER, a CG buddy laugher; THE FLEEPS, which follows a musical duo that stowaway on a spaceship with an alien warlord and his mom; and YOU’RE A BAD MAN, based on Andy Stanton’s book series.
