During the 2012 London Olympics, it was argued that this year’s USA Basketball Team composed of today’s brightest NBA stars (LeBron James, Kobe Bryant etc) could beat the highly-esteemed 1992 Dream Team starring Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird, just to name a few. Today it is physically impossible to test this debate in the hardwood because Father Time has already caught up with the 1992 Dream Team. But with the help of the upcoming video game release NBA 2K13 and its realistic 3D animation, it seems we just might see who is better: then or now?
Kobe Bryant vs Michael Jordan, LeBron James vs Magic Johnson… NBA fans can go on and on. Video games have made it possible to converge the old with the new. NBA 2K13 is set for a release date of October 2, 2012.
