The LEGO media franchise is steadily expanding its reach from entries such as the video games LEGO: Lord of the Rings and the LEGO set of the Avengers. Now it is entering the fray of animated movies with LEGO Batman the Movie: DC Superheroes Unite. While DC Comics can’t assemble the Justice League until 2015, this LEGO animated movie is filling the need nicely. The MediaFreaks 3D Animation Studio Blog refers you to this official trailer below:
Originally screened during the recently held New York Comic-Con 2012, this trailer showcases the Joker and Lex Luthor as the two primary antagonists of the Justice League of America (albeit in LEGO form). It is scheduled for an early 2013 release and will be available directly for home entertainment use.
