Instead of a 2012 theatrical launch, the sequel G.I. Joe Retaliation was pushed to 2013 because of last-minute shoots and post-production issues. But hopefully the extra time left the producers enough room to turn the movie into a masterpiece considering it stars Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum and the Rock. To pad its box office receipts, the movie is banking on its global popularity. Thus after an international trailer, the MediaFreaks 3D Animation Studio Blog has discovered a Japanese trailer for the movie.
Viral marketing has started for the film through a COBRA Special Forces recruiting video. We will post it here soon. Jon Chu directs this adrenaline-pumping movie that will open in theaters on March 29, 2013.
