X-Men fans should not get excited easily with the title of this new film. It’s not Bobby Drake, the mutant who can manipulate ice. The Iceman is a movie about a Mafia hitman named Richard Kuklinski. But it stars comic book movie icons in Chris Evans (Captain America) and Michael Shannon (Superman’s enemy General Zod in the Man of Steel). James Franco of Oz the Great and Powerful will also star in this biopic film. Kuklinski is a professional killers that was called the Iceman because he would freeze his victims in ice so that their time of death will confuse the authorities. The Iceman has been screened in the 2012 Venice Film Festival and will make its major theatrical run this coming May 2013.
