While Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance never made it quite big in box office movie sales, the MediaFreaks 3D Animation Studio Blog did appreciate its demonic and wildfire action scenes. Now it’s all coming to Blu-Ray and DVD this June 25. Relive the adventures of Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider in this Marvel Knights film. Here is the Blu-Ray/DVD trailer:
While the cinematography of the film is obviously digital, it looks great when rendered in Blu-Ray. Apart from the film, there are loads of added features and content added for this home entertainment release:
- The Path to Vengeance. This is an 89 minute behind the scenes documentary revealing how they shot the film in Eastern Europe and how Nicolas Cage performed some of the death defying stunts.
- There is also an expanded video commentary revealing to us the thoughts of directors Nevaldine and Taylor as we course through some scenes.
- Six deleted scenes including a half transformed Nicolas Cage as the Ghost Rider.
