Controversial and award-winning rapper Eminem will join Family Guy’s talking baby Stewie Griffin to host Animation Domination this May 17 on FOX. To immerse himself in the animation world, Eminem will have an animated version which will be shown in interstitials throughout the show.

“It was a thrill to work with Stewie,” said Eminem about the youngest member of the Griffin clan. “I’m a big fan of talking babies and their humor.”

On working with Eminem, the cartoon character Stewie said “I was just about to meet him, but after I shook hands with his stylist, his assistant, his lawyer, his bodyguard, his other bodyguard, his photographer, his manager, his hanger-on, his flower girl, his driver, his videographer, his notary, his historian, his her-storian, his texter and his own greased-up deaf guy, I got the swine flu.”

Family Guy is a popular cartoon animation television series from America. It is created and produced by Seth MacFarlane and is regularly aired on Fox and other television networks in syndication. The narrative of the series revolves around a dysfunctional family from the town of Quahog, Rhode Island. Cutaway gags are a regular motif of this show.

On the season finale of FAMILY GUY airing 9:00 pm ET/PT, Peter has his palm read by a psychic who reveals that he had a fascinating past life in the 17th century as Griffin Peterson, a dignified gentleman from the newly founded colony of Quahog who vied for the love of Lady Redbush. It was a time of great love and adventure where King Stewart reigned supreme, the smartest dog in the room was the court jester, army lieutenants were merely boys and even old England loved “How I Met Your Mother” (Neil Patrick Harris, Josh Radnor and Jason Segel guest-voice).

Family Guy is a curious case for depending on DVD sales. It was canceled in 2000 and again in 2002 but because of its strong DVD sales, it was resurrected by FOX. It is the only cartoon animation series to have such distinction.
