Hansel and Gretel is a well-loved fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm that got a re-imagination with the 2013 film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Tommy Wirkola directed this action-horror dark fantasy film and comedian Will Ferrell is listed in the credits as one of the producers of the movie. The movie actually finished shooting early but it was delayed for ten months to give way to Renner’s appearances in The Avengers and Bourne Legacy.
