While the gears and get-up of the soldiers in the trailer for Zero Dark Thirty may appear to look like characters from a video game, their story is based from real and recent events. It chronicles the steps of the military to pinpoint the location and to seize Osama bin Laden. The capture did not turn well for bin Laden who was killed during the operation because he is supposedly dangerous. The MediaFreaks 3D Animation Studio Blog found this trailer for the potentially controversial movie.
Zero Dark Thirty is written and directed by Kathryn Bigelow of Hurt Locker fame. The movie will flesh out the details of the takeover and give us a glimpse of the men and women behind the operation. Zero Dark Thirty is coming in movie theaters this December 19, 2012.
