Character Licensing
Character Farm Pte Ltd and Mediafreaks Cartoon Pte Ltd are affiliate companies of Mediafreaks Pte Ltd, both dedicated to producing quality appealing characters for cartoon animation content and character licensing purposes.
We design and create our characters with a few key criteria in mind:
1) They must be easily adaptable for licensing and merchandising purposes
2) They must appeal to as many cultures and mass markets as possible to maximize returns and leverage for our partners
3) They must be unique and be able to stand out amongst the vast competition of cartoon characters out in the market.
4) Most of our characters are focused on the cute genre and are thus very suitable for female and children merchandise.
5) Our characters are usually supported through some form of medium that reaches to the mass markets, such as a cartoon animated series, internet broadcast contents or mobile phone contents.
You can learn more about our cartoon characters here.
Ever since our characters were available for licensing opportunities, we have struck several successful deals with licensees and agents from America, Europe, Japan and other parts of the world. We welcome enquiries from interested parties who are keen to discuss licensing possibilities. Please contact us at info@media-freaks.com

Hi Aldric
I am so in love with you’re Sedo dog I think it is highly creative and just ripe for whatever next licensing move you’re
going to make. I am currently exploring character art and I truly
appreciate the knowledge that you share on your site. I have learned more from you than what’s taught in school or through any research I’ve done over the last past 4 years. My characters are still being developed creatively and personility. Thank You Aldric
for being a true voice in this industry. Oh by the way I have recommened your site to a few of my associates and they love it as well. Continue the excellent and I’ll stay in touch.
Hi Tanya,
Many thanks for your kind words and recommendations
I would certainly endeavor to share whatever experience I have. Feel free to drop me a comment or mail whenever you have questions.
Thanks and kind regards,
Aldric
Hi Aldric,
Very informative site and lots of lovely characters. I also liked the articles you have posted on your blog concerning character licensing.
Our company is almost in the same business but with much less experience than yourself in this field and I’m glad I could find such a useful and authoritative resource to answer some of our questions and fill in the blanks.
Keep up the good work.
Reza
Once again, Aldric…*Pound-Pound-Pound* You’ve hit the nail on the proverbial head.
I agree with you regarding marketing and licensing of characters. They do need to be highly marketable, likable, mass-appealing, able to cross cultural boundaries, be cute, be wacky, and have cute catch phrases.
I think that’s probably why such characters as the ones from South Park and Simpsons are so popular and highly marketable. The characters from my series “Far Out Daddio” aren’t quite as risky as theirs, but I do believe they will appeal to boys and girls.
“Far Out Daddio” is a cute, family friendly series aimed toward mass marketing by using internet and cell phones. I’m discussing this series with a friend I met at a firm with a network of channels aimed toward cell phone users. He’s interested in seeing our first episode, and as this is great news for me and my team, I’d still like to know more about character licensing.
Would you be available to speak with me regarding the possibility of working with me and my team to license our characters? Please let me know at your earliest convenience if this is feasible. Thanks in advance and I hope to hear from you.
Tim
